I would just like to say how sad we were to hear of the passing away of our fellow club and committee member, Jim Beresford, after battling a long illness.

Jim was in the transport business for many years and was well known and liked in the industry.  He was a valued committee member who liked getting things done.  He was also a good organiser, with his yearly trip to Scotland with friends and colleagues, and also with our annual show.

His good humour and good sense will be sadly missed at committee meetings, but I think he will be missed even more by his friends and family for the great bloke that he was.

We would like to pass on our thanks to any members who were able to attend Jim’s funeral.
